EQUIPMENT LIST

The products below are products I have either used myself or that have been recommended by my clients. 

Whilst many of the objects below can be imitated with things you can find at home, you will probably find it useful to make the investment for a number of these items if you plan to take The Egoscue Method and improving your movement capabilities more seriously long term. 

Don’t rush out to buy anything straightaway (or before your first appointment) but you’ll probably see the value in a number of these quite quickly.

2 x HEAVY DUTY YOGA BLOCKS

Heavy duty yoga blocks are useful for exercises like Modified Floor Block or to prop up your foot during Supine Groin Stretch.

2 x LIGHTWEIGHT YOGA BLOCKS

Lightweight yoga blocks are useful to squeeze in-between your knees in exercises like Knee Pillow Squeezes or to rest your head on as a pillow.

1 x YOGA STRAP

A Yoga Strap is used during exercises like Abductor Presses and Supine Calf & Hamstring Stretch.

2 x McKENZIE CERVICAL ROLLS

These cervical rolls will support your spine in the correct position during exercises like Lying Supine with Towel & Block.

1 x WOODEN SLANT BOARD

A great addition to my client’s equipment inventory if they have stiff feet and calves. A Wooden Slant Board is used during Wall Drop and Ankle Sequence.

TOE SEPARATORS

Stiff, clawed, crooked toes? Toe Separators are an easy way to start passively stretching out your toes around the home. You might need to start wearing them only for 15 mins at a time (if you have very stiff feet).
