Learn to ‘Touch your Toes’ with Posture Ellie!
Lots of my clients have the same goal of wanting to be able to touch their toes/touch the ground from a standing position.
In order to achieve this, you need the ability to be able to hinge from your hips (pelvic extension), extend your knees and dorsiflex your ankles.
This class initially walks through a simple self-assessment to see if you can identify where your muscular restrictions may originate from in your body and then through 7 exercises you can start doing on a daily basis in order to quickly achieve the function needed to touch the floor. For some people it may happen amazingly quickly and for some people may take a little longer (depending on your starting point!)
This is a recording of my ‘Touch your Toes’ Online Posture Class from 01/09/20. You will need a Yoga Strap (or similar), a chunk of wall and a dining room chair.
